ZeroGravity PDA players will receive complete training, allowing them to become smarter overall players with an excellent understanding of the game.
Players develop high levels of confidence and are prepared for competition, with the knowledge and skills to make the best decisions in every game situation. ZeroGravity Academy aims to impart the true values and philosophy of soccer to each ZeroGravity graduate/participant/member/player/??? -- Respect, Commitment, and Fair Play.
Along with development, recreational and competitive programs, ZeroGravity PDA has developed specific programs that target high-level training opportunities to develop Technical, Tactical, and Psychological aspects of the game.
Our Director
A resident of Oxnard, CA, Robert Gutierrez brings over 40 years of futbol knowledge and over 30 years of national and international coaching experience to ZeroGravity.
Robert has professional experience as a player in Mexico with UdeG Bachelors under Luis Placencia, as well as in the United States with the L.A. Salsa and the SF Valley Golden Eagles, both under the leadership of Rialdo Menendez, the former Brazilian National team member. Robert holds a "C" Coaching License from the USSF.
Since Robert has been in the United States, he has made his mark as a coach at the academy, collegiate and professional levels. Recently Robert was goalkeeper coach under Steve Sampson, former coach of the US National Team, during his tenure at CSU Channel Islands and has trained several goalkeepers from various universities throughout Southern California. Robert also works with young goalkeepers, and continues to be an active volunteer throughout the community.
Our Founder
Roberto Navajas is an expert in personal player development emphasizing strong personal relationships with the goalkeepers he works with to help them achieve their best results.
He has presented at several conferences around the world regarding his goalkeeper training methodology.
He has also been a Keynote speaker to the Spanish Futbol Federation as a Master Specialist in the training of Futbol Goal Keepers.
Roberto has created a learning methodology that adapts to each goalkeeper and coach, integrating their goalkeeping knowledge with coaching tools to design a tailored program to achieve their highest possible performance.
Roberto serves as the Goalkeeper coordinator for the Mexican Football Federation.
