ZeroGravity Player Development Academy Scores in Ventura
Current Chilean Men's National Team and former LaLiga Professional Goalkeeper coach, Robert Navajas, will visit Ventura's newest soccer club this summer.

VENTURA, CA, August 1, 2021- Zerogravity USA Pro Development Youth Academy, the first and only international club in Ventura, has quickly impacted the soccer scene. Forming his first team in January 2021, Director Robert Gutierrez has expanded the program rapidly to more than ten competitive and four recreational teams as of April 2021. Robert Gutierrez has also helped facilitate grassroots clinics for youngsters age 4-7 and works with players and goalkeepers of all ages and levels. This August, Zerogravity founder Roberto Navajas will visit Ventura to help launch the program in its first full season and kick off the Player Development Academy.

Roberto Navajas is a "UEFA" pro-certified coach who played professionally in Spain LaLiga from 1982-1996 and has served as the Head Goalkeeper Coach at some La Liga top clubs like Granada Cf, Real Sociedad, Logroñés CF, and currently with the Chilean Men's National team. A specialist in player psychology and development, Roberto Navajas has been a guest speaker and instructor for many organizations worldwide, including the Spanish and Croatian Futbol Federation.

"Bringing Mr. Navajas years of experience, European philosophy, and methodology here to the states will have a big impact in the development of our athletes. Mr. Navajas offers industry-leading training to all levels of play, from grassroots to professional. The fact that players can continue the conversation and training through the ZeroGravity App with Mr. Navajas, beyond the usual academy schedule, takes training to a whole new level." stated Gutierrez.

Zerogravity Camps will offer a unique program of instruction that develops each player's skills and tactical awareness led by several elite coaches under the leadership and guidance of Roberto Navajas. In addition, the camp aims to stimulate a love for the game in young athletes by showing them how to accelerate their progress and success on the soccer field. The Zerogravity USA Ventura camp will take place Saturday, August 7, at Camino Real Park. The camp time is noon – 1:30 pm, followed by a BBQ and Q&A for our players and their families

This event is one in a series of camps held throughout California during the month of August. They include Goalkeeper, Striker, and Coaches camps and full team clinics for clubs partnered with Zerogravity.
